    Custom Workstation PC

What does a custom workstation PC require?

If you work with demanding tasks, such as 4K video editing, photo editing, data analytics or AI machine learning, you need a powerful custom workstation PC. Here are the essential hardware components that you need to consider, explained in a way that’s made simple:

Processor (CPU) – This is the part of the computer that does the thinking. You need a CPU that can think fast and handle many things at the same time. Factors to consider are the number of CPU cores and the speed of a the CPU.

Generally the more cores your CPU has, the faster your programs will run as long as it’s able to utilize all the cores. Some examples of this are rendering, graphic design, video editing and data analytics.

There are instances where having more cores will NOT benefit you. Editing photos on Photoshop is primarily a single core heavy program so the speed of your CPU matters more than the number of cores

Random Access Memory (RAM) – The RAM, or the random access memory, is the main memory of the computer. It stores the information and instructions that the CPU needs to access quickly and often. You can tell how good a RAM is by looking at its capacity, speed, and latency.

Graphics Card (GPU) – The GPU, or the graphics processing unit, is the part of the workstation that makes the graphics and images for your work. It also helps with some other tasks, such as changing the format of videos, or using artificial intelligence. You need a GPU that can make complex and detailed graphics and images and help the CPU with other tasks. You can tell how good a GPU is by looking at its core count, clock speed, memory size, memory speed, and memory bandwidth. Having said that, not all programs/software can utilise your GPU.

Fill us in on your purpose, needs as well as budget and we’ll put together your rendering or 4K video editing workstation that’s specific to your requirements. Rest assured, our team of tech consultants are well versed with the hardware requirements of various software suites.

    Custom Editing & Rendering Workstation

3D modelling & rendering workstations are not your typical PCs. Built to be more robust, our custom workstations are designed to complete more complex workflows, such as video editing and rendering, motion graphics and animation as well as 3D designing.

Using our custom PC builder service, you’ll be able to accomplish more in less time. With high-end graphics installed on our custom video rendering & editing workstation, you’ll be able to render and animate at the speed and level of details you need. All of this to ensure you have the optimal experience paired with unparalleled support to ensure that you experience minimal hardware downtime.

Our custom workstations are centered around our users. We understand that your demanding and complex professional workflows call for outstanding usability and reliability, combined with engineering excellence. We build every desktop with not just performance in mind, but also with optimised airflow and aesthetics as well.

We’re confident in our assembly process but take it a step further and professionally stress test your custom workstation before releasing them out to you. Any build that doesn’t pass our QC process instantly goes back to the drawing board and replaced to ensure exceptional reliability.
