Do you build both gaming PCs and professional workstations?

Yes. We build custom gaming PCs as well as professional workstations for trading, CAD and architecture, video editing, AI and machine learning, engineering simulation and creative work. The same workshop, the same build process, different specs.

Can you build to my exact parts list?

Yes. If you have a specific part list, send it over and we will quote for assembly and testing. We can also advise on any compatibility or value issues we spot before we start.

Do you use new components only?

All builds use new components unless you specifically request otherwise. We do not use refurbished parts in standard builds.

Is it cheaper to build a custom PC than to buy a pre-built?

At equivalent component quality, a custom build is typically more cost-effective than a branded pre-built because you are not paying for brand margins or components cut to hit a price point. You also get a machine that is configured for your use case, not a general consumer profile.

What decides the price of a custom PC?

The price follows what you run, because different software leans on different parts. Trading platforms do most of their work on the processor, and the graphics card mainly decides how many screens you can run. Revit and AutoCAD feel faster with a quick single core than with many cores. DaVinci Resolve and local AI models lean on the graphics card and its video memory. So we put your budget where your software uses it, not spread evenly across every part. Tell us your software, your monitors and your budget by WhatsApp or the contact form and we will send a configuration and quote. A 10–20% deposit, depending on the order value, starts the build.

How do I start a build or get a quote?

Contact us via the contact form or WhatsApp. Tell us what you will use the machine for, your budget and any specific requirements. We will send a configuration and price within one business day. Read how a custom PC build works, start to finish.

How long does a build take?

Most builds, gaming or professional, are ready in 3 to 5 business days. We will confirm your timeline when we quote.

Do I need to pay upfront?

We require a deposit of 10–20%, depending on the order value, to confirm the build and order components. The balance is due on collection or before delivery. See our Terms of Service for deposits, delivery and warranty.

Can I collect the PC in person?

Yes. We are based at Publika Shopping Gallery, Solaris Dutamas, KL. Collection is always welcome: you can inspect the build before taking it.

Where is Techtonic Malaysia?

Techtonic Malaysia is at B3-5-6, Publika Shopping Gallery, 1, Jalan Dutamas 1, Solaris Dutamas, 50480 Kuala Lumpur.

What are your opening hours? Are you open on Sunday?

We are open Monday to Saturday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and closed on Sunday.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes, free within the Klang Valley, where we can deliver on the same day your PC is ready. Elsewhere in Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak, we ship by GDex at cost, confirmed when we quote. On-site setup is also available, and its charge may be waived depending on the order value.

Do you offer instalments?

Yes, through SPayLater, subject to eligibility, and credit card instalment plans with most banks, except Maybank, CIMB and Public Bank. We also accept cash, bank transfer and card.

Can you build with parts I already own?

Yes. We can do a partial build around the parts you already have. If you supply every part, we charge for assembly based on how complex the build is.

What warranty do your builds come with?

Each build carries its components’ manufacturer warranty, generally 3 years, covering parts and labour. If something fails, bring the PC to us and we handle the claim for you. Dust cleaning, troubleshooting and the labour for upgrades are free for as long as you own the PC. Within the Klang Valley, we also collect and return it for servicing at no charge.

Can you upgrade a PC you built for me?

Yes. We keep track of what is inside each machine we build. Bring it in or contact us with what you want to upgrade and we will advise on compatibility. The labour for upgrades is free for as long as you own the PC. You pay only for any new parts.

Can you service or repair a PC you did not build?

Yes, we handle diagnostics, repairs, cleaning and upgrades on PCs and laptops regardless of where they were purchased. Contact us with the issue and we will advise.
