Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Techtonic Malaysia collects, why, and how you can access or correct it. Techtonic Malaysia is a trading name of Ace Tech Computer, B3-5-6, Publika Shopping Gallery, 1, Jalan Dutamas 1, Solaris Dutamas, 50480 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (“we”, “us”). We handle personal data in line with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. What we collect

  • What you send us. Your name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, and the details of your request (use case, software, budget, delivery address) when you use our quote forms, WhatsApp, email or phone, or visit our store.
  • Order details. The build you ordered, payments and deposits, and warranty or service history.
  • Website usage. Your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how you reached us, collected through cookies (see section 5).

The name and contact fields on our forms are required so we can reply to you. Everything else is optional. If you don’t give us contact details, we can’t respond to your enquiry.

2. How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotations and recommend a build.
  • To build, deliver and support your order, including warranty claims.
  • To keep records required by law, such as invoices.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.
  • To send you news or offers related to what you bought or asked about, only if you haven’t told us to stop. You can opt out at any time.

3. Who we share it with

We don’t sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with:

  • Delivery partners, such as Lalamove, Grab or GDex, to deliver your order.
  • Service providers that run our website, email and analytics: our web host, Google (Analytics, reCAPTCHA spam protection and Maps) and Meta (advertising measurement).
  • Manufacturers or distributors, where a warranty claim needs your purchase details.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

Some of these providers, such as Google and Meta, may process data outside Malaysia. We use them only for the purposes above.

4. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. After that, we delete or anonymise them.

5. Cookies

  • Necessary cookies make the site work, protect our forms from spam and remember your cookie choice.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and WordPress.com Stats) help us understand visits and measure our ads.

You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPA you can:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it;
  • withdraw your consent, or ask us to stop using it for marketing.

Email us and we will reply within 21 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.

7. Security

We protect your data with reasonable technical and organisational measures. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, so please don’t send passwords or payment card numbers through our forms or messages.

8. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
